Where have you been hiding?

I haven’t been able to dive into all of the uses but here are a few

With SPDiag…
· Use Live Capture to collect data in real time to monitor the farms performance.
· Create a snapshot record of the farm in an xml file that holds information on the hardware, installed software & logical structure
· Filter data to show specific information related to a server

I really like this tool because it all the information is right there in front of you... It has the Servers in the farm, SP Build, SQL Database Info (Size, Files, Filegroups & Options), SP Accounts (App Pools and Services), Logs (IIS, ULS, Event & Performance). With all of this information all in one place it can defiantly cut down the amount of time it takes to diagnose issues.
